The Journey Begins

Welcome Friends…

This silly blog has been 6 years in the making.  But today, TODAY….it starts.  There is this place where fear and faith and bravery all collide.  Where you quit making excuses, you quit waiting for everything to look and feel the way that you want it to and you take the bigger step of faith to walk forward, trust and just learn as you go.  Speaking of learning as you go, that is what this blog is going to center around.  From Weeds to Daisy’s is a story, several stories within my life.  It’s a story about the weeds that have tried to choke out life.  It’s a story of miracles and mountaintops and the darkest deepest valleys.  It’s a story of learning.  Learning that life and beauty will not flourish if you don’t continually pull the weeds as you notice them.  You know the ugliest thing about weeds?  They always come back and if you don’t take care of them, they will take over and ruin something that could otherwise be very beautiful.  I’ve learned this, I am learning this and I will continue to learn this.  I commit to be honest and real and I’m honored that you’re coming along with me on my journey.
